Week 4 Results

I will post week 5 as well as the season results tomrrow.

Week 5 Game Scores

Congrats to L45B for his week 5 win. He had 7 correct picks with a variation of 22. Meds came in second with 7 correct picks but with a variation of 26. And Nolesy claims third, also with 7 correct picks, and a variation of 934 due to the automatic assignment of 999 when you do not select a combined score. (Nolesy melt to commence in 3...2...1...)

Week 5 Results

The drunken one takes over for the season lead with C-husk and Terry on his heels.

Season Standings

And here they are...the finalists.

The Pac 10 replay official in the booth will somehow overturn Lax's win last week even though there is not enough visual evidence to substantiate it.

Oh, I forgot about the Houston game not being played. After this adjustment, Nolesy is the winner.

Just curious...if I tied with Nolesy and LB for 1st in week 5 why did LB get to be a finalist and Nolsesy and I didn't?

Is this a queston making fun of Nolesy's questions of the past or are you serious?

Two losses by 1/2 point each and now I'm out of first place.

Well, in my "abbreviated" rules I posted awhile back, I explain the need for the combined score for game 1 every week.

In the case that more than one person gets the most correct picks for the week (such as this past week), the combined score is used as a tiebreaker.

There were 65 points scored in the Michigan/MSU game. You guessed 39 meaning you were 26 points off. Lance guessed 43 meaning he was 24 points off. He wins the week. Nolesy didn't make a guess so he gets the default of 999.

This rule was put into effect by the UBB Code Gods of 1999.

Damn. I hate taking it up the ole poop shoot by the UBB code Gods.

Is'nt there some kind of shine rule or one sticker dude stats I can use to appeal this? Or am I gonna just haft to start whinning like a colic 3month old?

The Shine Rule was instituted at season's end for the following season so wouldn't do you any good this year.

One sticker dude won week 1 and is using The Shine Rule now. He hasn't made any subsequent picks yet will be in the finals.

Whining like a 3 month old will only make you sound like m2 and probably get you a nomination into The 2005 Amazing Bitch Race.

So, to paraphrase, "don't forget to put the total score of game 1 in next week dumb fuck".

If I get 4 or 4.5 every week til the season ends, will the Seer Rule (exemplary consistency) be in effect so I make the finals????

seer....yes because to make it fun in the finals we need at least one or two people to bring up the rear.
Wow, I'm in the top 10.......

I scroll down and notice that it no longer says college football in the box that reads "jump to'. It know reads big time power college football in caps.
Call me simple but I got quite a laugh when I saw that change.
