Patriots vs. Steelers - In Game

Post by M2 »

Venatari goes for over 40 on Hines field for a 3-0 Pats lead early.

Should be the best game of the day.

Oh my, the San Francico bay area boy(Brady) is playing like his idol "Joe Montana"...

Not a good sign for "The Curtain".

10-0 Patriots

All they can do is tie it, Dallas already has it tied anyway.

Besides the 49ers have never lost in a Super Bowl, the Steelers have.

And RACK the fuck out of that Budwieser commercial with the ref getting yelled at at home.

Looks like Big Ben and his arm is going to have to win the game, NE is absolutely suffocating the box.

Do the Steelers know there is a game going on? Every big play has been made by the Patriots. Pittsburgh needs a long scoring drive to gain some momentum and wear down the New England defense. The ground game has to be there because Roethlisberger won't carry them to victory by himself...he looks skidish out there just like last week.

BINGO!

Him against Brady is looking like a huge mismatch. I don't know what has been the difference with him since the end of the regular season but he's been awful in both playoff games. Down three TDs to the champs...a lot of strange stuff is going to have to happen for the Steelers to get back into this one.

C'mon STEELERS!

So tell me all why you dislike the Pats? How can you hate this team?

You all are probably the same people who were bitching and moaning about parody in the NFL. Now that a team has dominated like they have you hate on them. Which is it?

Oh, well. I was hoping for a Steelers-Iggles Super Bowl.
Guess I'm at least half right. :P

#1. I don't like QBs that benifit by gravy training to a Super Bowl when they were not the QB that got the team to that point in the first place. (See Phil Simms/Jeff Hostetler.

#2. That tuck play against the Raiders is still the worst call I have ever seen in my life.

#3. That tuck play against the Raiders was the worst call ever made in sports with the exception of the USA getting screwed over in the Olympics against Russia in basketball.

#4. Fuck parody, fuck free agency, but they have nothing to do with me disliking the Patriots.

Furthermore, the Patriots didn't even make the playoffs 2 years ago. How is that domination?

1) Drew Bledsoe got hurt and Brady was his replacement. Belichick decided to go with Brady and I believe they won 12 in a row to finish including SB XXXVI. Said Brady has since won another SB and looks like he is going to his 3rd. How is that gravytraining?

2) Rules are Rules......

3) See #2

4) The Patriots finished 9-7 and tied for the division lead with the Jets. Lost on tie breakers. No wildcard. 3 out of 4 ain't bad.......

It's pretty obvious that you can't successfully run a play-action scheme when you're down three TDs, Frank. I said that when it was still 10-3, idiot.

BTW, are you that fucking dickhead that used to post on TNW that claimed you worked at the NFL office in NYC?
Except you posted it when it was 17-3. Face it, your knowledge of football is as big as a gnat's cock.

Big TD to start the half. Another quick stop by the Steeler D and this one could get entertaining

What are you talking about?

A play action call when the team that is behind only by 14 and threatening to cut the lead to 7 early in the game is by all means within the logic of the game.

Jealousy and envy, primarily...but you can also toss in a healthy dose of Tom Brady sucks Trent Greens' ball sack...but that's just me.

Maybe they need younger refs so they get it right the first time instead of having to waste time and break the momentum of the game.
