Nice way to kill the momentum on two stupid penalties.

Not the way champions play....
get out, get out while there's still time

#5. I don't like instant replay.

They are talking about using it in CFB. I hope it never happens.

Yeah god forbid they get it right.......
Maybe they need younger refs so they get it right the first time instead of having to waste time and break the momentum of the game.

Im all for better refs!! So screw getting it right in order to keep momentum? Ok.....I wasn't sure what your stance was but that is clear. Thanks so much......

I haven't read the thread, but in case I repeat someone...this is a boooooooring game. Oh well, glad I'll be in Philly for the Super Bowl. Should be fun. Fucking flight gets in at 5:15 though so I'm guaranteed to miss some of the game.

Titans in '05.

It is boring. Maybe they can mix in another couple of instant replays to spark things up.

The NFL doesn't have a "tuck rule" for balls on the ground?

Sorry, you posted it when it was 17-3, further proving your lack of knowledge of the game. Leave the football talk to those of us who know what we're talking about, fucktard.

If I were a Pats fan, I'd be thrilled with the call too. Cowherd just told the Bus and the O-line that he had no faith in them. Reminds me of the 4th and inches at Phily last year the Packers had with about 3 minutes to go. Sherman punts, and a 4th and 26 defensive play later the game was over. Going for it with 3 minutes and an inch to go would have prevented that play.

Dumb call.

Even if they don't score the TD, they leave the pats buried inside the two yd. line.

That FG was meaningless.

Agreed.

Maybe they should have a fan button on each seat to override the coach on certain plays. I for one would have been hammering away at a button like that if I were a Steeler fan.

Stupid decision. You get that close, ya go. No brainer!
That's the reason the Dee gave up that FG, because they were let down by that coaching decision. Demoralizes you, when your coach is playing like he's AHEAD 14, instead of behind!!

makes no sense!

Fake to the BUS, and roll toss to whomever!

Good grief, I'm pulling for Bettis here.

Did Neil O'Donnell slip some roofies or cloroform Ben ? Or did he do something much more sinister ?

Still some time left. C'mon Pittsburgh.

Too much rookie. Sorry Pitt. fans. The kid just needs more seasoning for the big, big games. Just not enough.

And it sucks, because take away the shitty picks, and it's a tie game.

Good thing I went the Over, for $500.
THAT much I knew, today.

Bonnie Bernstein reports that Bettis is considering retirement.

Great, then stop them after. Other than the one pass interception for a TD, the Pats have made the Steelers look like a .500 ball club on defense.

The Pats have been going up and down the field all game long.

I mean, lets think about that 4th and goal by Cowherd.
Simms said that it was the best move, since it was down to 11, which is like another score, plus a 2pt. conversion, then a FG to tie.

Well, - that 2 yard line play IS JUST LIKE a 2 pt. convesion try! - So, what's the difference when you try the TWO!? on 4th and goal, or later! Whats the damn diff.!?

Stoopi, stoopid coaching call. Demoralizes the entire sideline! It's like. "Hey, we can't score two yards out, so I'll try and do it LATER if we even score a td later!? WTF IS that!?

Jacksonville, here we come!
To hell with state loyalty. I grew up with the Redskins, so I could never
in all good conscience cheer for the Iggles.

They're losing as a team, but the bottom line in this game is turnovers. I know it's sounds cliche but it's reality.

Special teams has been lackluster.

Further, Ben's propensity for throwing INTS, is making Cowher play a more conservative game.

I don't see how you can simply write this off as the defense ...... but they gave up right there.

It's moot. Game over.

RACK Bettis anyway

The games lost, that's why Branch walked. But, with 14:00 to go, down by two td's, Cowerd is going for three, when he's two yards out!?

THAT may have been the game, right there!
