Who of note will the turk visit in your town this season?

Davey and Johnson just aren't getting it done and need to be taking up cap space on someone else's roster. Flutie is listed as an alternate to Davey since I think that the Patriots have no reason to keep 4 QB's and they seem to favor that Matt Cassel kid after his showing in the first preseason game. Troy Brown is a real possibility to get cut even as a fan favorite. Tim Dwight seems to be getting the reps at what used to be Troy Brown's position as a 3rd receiver and occasional punt returner. The problem for Brown is that Dwight has been more effective at that spot in the preseason so far snap for snap. It should be interesting to find out what actually happens.

Brown and Flutie will not be cut. Do you seriously think they'll be comfortable handing the reigns to a kid that hasn't seen game action since high school? I agree that Davie should go, but the need the Mullet just in case.

I had heard rumblings that Shanny was going to release Jerry Rice, but it looks like he'll actually get that 3rd string position....the reason he came to the Broncos to begin with. :roll:

Since it's looking like releasing him won't happen, I guess Rat didn't want to be the coach known as "the coach who released Jerry Rice".
