backs in motion ??

Post by Wolfman »

I've seen it in CFL and Arena football.
I wonder if it would open up the game in the NFL
and make for less predictable offenses--
more open--exciting and more scoring.
Let the backs be in any motion including hitting
the line "on the fly" at the snap !!
Hell-- it might even be a way to keep the
QB's from getting put out for the season !!
I do not understand why offenses were restricted to only
one back in motion and then only away from the line
at the snap in the first place !!
Reaction ??

The defenses are getting so big/fast/and strong
that the game is bogged down with predictable
formations and offenses--- why not try it in those
"exhibition" games ??

No thanks. I'm not too keen on 77-75 games.
