We all know that many issues are not the red-blue thing that folks wrangle about. We revisit most of them so often that I think we forget that some seemingly old issues we thought were cast in stone can have new input out of the blue from popular culture.

Here is one that does. The link is to a song that plays while you see the singers promo page, about a kid that is asking to live.

I have always thought the abortion issue would be fought socially rather than politically, but didn't see it coming from this angle. Sweet song.
