A sad day for the San Francisco Bay Area community and the World.
Could use more of this kind of energy today.
I'm sure glad I grew up here.

I faulted on a serve today during pickleball. And then Mrs. 88 did the same thing, which triggered me to start singing "It's a family affair." Little did I know that my inability to sing would hasten Sly's demise. Sorry dude. I'll try not to do that sort of thing again.

Hot Fun in the Cemetery
RIP Sly. First rock concert I ever went to. Frost Amphitheater in 1971. What a difference it makes when you and your buddies start tuning 16 and you can start driving your fucking parent’s car. I won free tickets calling into KFRC The Big 610.

Yeah that was a great flick. Brought back a lot of memories, plus a whole lot of information I never knew. A lot of performers owe him for a lot of stuff they picked up from him. And Larry Graham too.

Who gets to grade Smackie's thread title? Do we assemble a committee? Coalition of the Willing?

Smackie will just bypass the committee and vote for himself. We'll be in court for years.

I guess he was after your time.
Apparently I just missed him.
Listened a lot to Tall Tom Campbell on KYA back in the day.
I moved south in September of 73. And by that time I had pretty much switched over to FM. KSAN, KOME, sometimes KZSU and KFJC.
