Maher continues his ever subtle slight lean to the right.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, as most of
it is still good old fashioned common sense ... something
that is very lacking from the extremist kooks on both sides.
This is basically much ado about nothing. A bunch of rich
guys hanging out in a place that none of them should be in.
Still April here in FOC. Day job M-F, all grill biz every other
waking moment.

Stole that from a meme page, but I swear I know a gal
that would generate that same exact meme were she
to try and make one. The kid, the phone, the dog,
the tats, even the color and overall hair style... just
add on about 50lbs.
Happy weekend, Y'all.

As Maher describes, President Dump is an actor.
Nobody builds in all of the primo locations where Dump has been allowed to build unless they are in the club.
Being in the club means you have an owner(s), and your owner(s) has you by the balls.
Dumpy will play his part.

Yesterday, I brought my wife to the airport. She's now in Yucatán for a few weeks, timed intentionally with the start of the legislative Session, which is Monday. Session for me means early days and late nights, and when I get home, all I really want to do is to go to sleep. So off to the villa she goes. I'll get to go after Session. First in this series is looking back at our villa, then the path to the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
Waking up with nasty back pain shooting down to my toes, and unpleasantly, into my nuts. Which then affects my stomach, so it also feels like I'm about to vomit. Percocet, methocarbamol, and phenergan for breakfast with my yogurt.
But you don't let chronic pain stop you. Just took the boys for their walk:
And now am about to go run errands. LSU baseball later. Is TT tonight? If so, I am ------> IN. Y'all have a good one.

I spent about four hours on Thursday waving around a weed whacker and another four or five hours on Friday bent over pulling weeds, and cutting down and applying Roundup to a few weedy trees that have been springing up. Yesterday, after the Saturday morning trop to the farmers market and Costco, I spent most of the day resting my aching back.
Today...Masters Tourney and Padres baseball, trying to extend their lead in the NL West. The current record is an ML best 12-3 - tied for the best 15 game start in Padres history. Our best starting pitcher, Michael King, is going up against the Rockies, so chances look pretty good.
A few other plants started to bloom this week.
Romneya Coulteri (Matilija Poppy) and Ceanothus "Concha"
More Ceanothus "Concha"
Ceanothus "Ray Hartman"
Arctostaphylos "Moroensis" (Morro Manzanita). This isn't actually blooming but it's something I put in the ground about four years ago and it never grew, never bloomed at all until earlier this spring (just a few blossoms). It's a cool looking plant and always looked healthy so I've just been waiting. Suddenly it's putting out a whole lot of growth and new leaves.
Diplacus Aurantiacus (Monkey Flowers)
View from the front door. All of that green is weeds that I have to keep mowing and will be brown in probably six weeks.
Before and after weeding pics of the Salvia Spathacea (hummingbird sage)
