It should be done all year long. Not just the final poll.

Unless he can pull an 8-3 or a 9-2 out of his ass, I hope so.

I think that coaches voting and their vote counting towards the BCS is a bad idea. Whats stopping them from voting opponents on their schedule higher to 1 improve their SOS and 2 get more teams from their conference into a BCS bowl which would equal more money for their program. They could also try to devalue the SOS of teams they are competing with for the 2 golden spots come regular seasons end.
Making their votes public will likely not decrease the grandstanding and buddy voting and if anything publishing their votes during the season would likely make it more rampant

Bellotti is probably looking at a similar fate, although with what we have returning I am pretty confident we'll see a minimum of 8 wins. We've got a good conference schedule this year, with most of the tough games at home and the easy ones on the road.

I forgot we don't even play you guys this year. Probably won't be a whole lot of battling between the two of us unless one of us becomes bitter over the collapse of our season.
