Weekend Roll Call 1-6-24

Post by kcdave »

Space Ace has a new track out ...

Happy Insurrection Day Trumpers. Oh what could have been if
the election wasn't stolen by the evil libs.
:meds:

Whole lotta grill biz going on today and then the weather looks
to be turning to hell next week here in FOC. More snow than we
have seen in 10 years .... is possible. We shall see.

Final weekend of the regular season for the NFL. Some great games
on tap with lots of playoff scenarios. The Chiefs are a lock in the 3 hole
and have nothing to play for. Most starters will be sitting and nothing
else needs to be said of the game. I believe they have a shot at facing
one of 5 or 6 different teams in the WC game depending on how things
play out. Not even worth talking about at this point. I may or may not
go deep on the subject next weekend, but keep an eye on the Chiefs
in the playoffs. They will be the most dangerous team in the brackets.
Don't be fooled by the current 10-6 record. Fanduel currently has them
at +950 to win the SB. Savvy bettors would be wise to toss a couple of
dimes at that one.

College NC game Monday night. Wish I was able to see that one live,
but sleep is more important. I hate each and every big 10 team.
Go Dawgs.

Since some of you are trying to label me as the board racist,
I may as well add some fire to the fuel (credit Ja'Moolie Chase)
and toss out this MOtW. That one's even to curvy for me, btw.
Here we see Homie and his bbw princess heading to H&R Block.
He be needin' some new rims for that '86 Cutlass.

I still need to get around to discussing my new lesbian neighbors,
but I am out of time.

Happy Weekend, Y'all.

January 6 is Twelfth Night (12 days of Christmas), and marks the start of the Mardi Gras season. It is proper to eat king cakes now until Mardi Gras day, which is February 13 this year (Fat Tuesday, always the day before Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent).

So Happy Mardi Gras, y'all.

Winter morning in LowCal.

It got down to 36 deg this morning, lowest so far this winter. Should be mid 60s this afternoon. Frost everywhere. And damn, this drought is killing us…

In. Was 34 @ 7:00 a.m. Plant covering season officially begins. Driving range again today...figuring out a swing that delays right shoulder surgery...Definitely will avoid sitting in row 29A on my airline of choice Alaska for awhile....

Looking forward to Monday. Heart says UW...wallet would edge for Mich...but never rule out a team that can go vertical.

In.

Got our first measurable snowfall that actually accumulated; a whole 1 inch! If the temperature dropped below freezing, it may have been a lot more.

Been hearing amounts all over the ballpark for this next one Monday into Tuesday and apparently next weekend too.

Was planning on taking down the Christmas decorations today. But it just looks too Christmasy out there to do this. Plus, there's still snow on the ground. Will try again tomorrow.

Got a fire going (yes, an actual wood-burning fireplace), see if there's anything good on TV today.

I still say fuck the NFL, but I'm clearly in the minority on that one. Real football starts up at the end of March with the new XFL/USFL merger now called the UFL. There's only 8 teams including the St. Louis Battlehawks. I just hope they keep the same XFL rules to actually make for exciting football and not this watered down pansy shit with games decided by the officials who throw those damn flags every other play and the noggle players bitching at each other the whole time.
Don't blame me, I voted for Trump

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Spent most of the day wandering along the river and walking downtown with my wife and our dog, Booger. Just checking things out.

Good god, the NFL is unwatchable. We got Atlanta-New Orleans and TB-Carolina. Worst division…mediocrity exemplified. Then Dallas-Wahington. Horrible.

Miami and Buffalo should be good, though.

Oh…way to go, Jackrabbits!

Niners vs Rams was like watching a preseason scrimmage between the practice squads. I wouldn’t have cared about it at all except that I had the Niners as one of my 3BB picks. My mistake. I coulda been 3-0 this week if I had picked the Lions like I originally was going to do. Oh well, hindsight and stuff.

I'm just trying to make sense of it all.
The gender neutral toy section requirement is a huge priority though.
We should all be grateful for that law.
