Probably because their half-wit fanbase is too busy lynching Russell Wilson.

I saw an interview with RG III where he was asked about the Broncos offensive struggles.

He basically said the current offensive paln is not helping Wilson at all.

He said the Mules desperately need to develop a running game.
Then they can run play-action passes off of it -- and also move Wilson out of the pocket where he can "free wheel it" more than he currently is able to do.
He is not a drop back guy, and he is also not a guy who should be throwing the ball all that much.

Russell has lost some mobility and flexibility, and he has also lost some arm on his deep throws, but he is 34 years old and should still have a few more years at a decent level.

And people say a lot lately about his personality, and I am not really defending that (or slamming it), but I think it is a secondary issue.
The main issue is they need the offense to do things that suit the QB, because they cannot fire Russell Wilson.

Denver needs a reset.

It's my understanding Hackett only got the job as a lure for Aaron Rogers and that went tits up. This season is a write-off, seems like their strategy is ride it out and hope for some small redemption or purge in the off-season.
