But the sole reason they made the FF as a 5-win #11 seed and nearly knocked off the best team in the field of sixty-eight is because of Mick Cronin. Incredible coach.

His genius, and thus UCLA’s tournament success, and thus the PAC-12’s success (in all sports) can be fully attributed to his Cincinnati Ohio roots and experience building teams in Ohio and the Midwest.

This really had little to do with anything west coast related (ie SoCal, NoCal, the Bay Area, the Golden Gate Bridge, Kal, etc), and had everything to do with Cincinnati and Ohio. The Heartland.
