This action was taken via Executive Order and not Congress. Biden exempted Congress and the Judicial branch. Maybe he feels he doesn't have the legal standing to include them. I can't imagine that is the way he feels though because he has openly said some of his other actions were unconstitutional but it would take the courts some time to rule. So why not include them?

I think everyone should pay taxes on their first dime of income.

I’d have that tax be a negligible rate up to maybe 30-40k, then start kicking it up so that you are somewhere in the 10-12% range at 100k and keep stepping it up to maybe 15% at 200k. By the time you get to 500k, maybe 25%. Step it up a bit more so that 2M a year pays 30%.

This would be a huge raise in tax paying, which we need give the bills eve run up over the last 60 years or so.

The idiocy from the Biden administration continues. Yesterday they announced the end of the travel ban against the UE, UK, China and other countries. Starting in November all are welcome again subject to usual visa requirements if they are vaccinated and provide a negative test prior to travel. On top of that both international travelers and US citizens will be required to provide airlines a phone number and email address for contract tracing purposes. The airlines will then share this with the government.

Where is the ACLU and the other liberal lapdogs complaining about privacy? Sure seems they don’t care as long as it is a Democrat in charge.

But the biggest issue here is the land border with Mexico remains unchanged. Anyone can fly to Mexico, walk or drive across the border, and then fly anywhere in the US. No proof of vaccination, no testing requirements, no contract tracing details. The only thing needed is the usual visas.
