Pretty much all of them are run by the left. Shocker. Something tells me they didn't factor in the shit & needles much in SF, because they would have easily gotten #1 had they done that. Still - SF came in at #9...
They're all cities with high people and car populations. The list needs to be broken down into size categories.

Broken down into size?
Wouldn't it be more conclusive if it mentioned which cities allowed defecation in the streets?

Why? They gave you their basis for the rankings. Population and EPA pollution number make up more than half. It is what it is.

Exactly. Just realize it for what it is.

1989 I stayed there at the Royal Sonesta in July for the Elk's National Convention. I remember seeing people hosing down Bourbon Street in the early AM to get it ready for the next night of fun and frivolity. The Garden District was very nice.

Yes, it is what it is ... until it isn't. TWIS's Marcus Allen reset is what I'm getting at.

In the US, it doesn't tell us anything that our largest cities are dirty due to population size and air pollution. You make a ranking like that in order to present a solution: but how does one clean a city of its population and its transportation woes?

Which is where Screw's point comes in (at least for the US). What happens when these cities lose the very thing which pollutes them?

I wanted a breakdown by size to see if there was something different to remove from the list besides population and air pollution. A city of 50,000 with the pollution of a city of 7 million is in worse shape than the city of 7 million and would actually be on top.... likewise, a city of 5 million with the pollution of a city of 250,000 may actually be 'clean'. You know?
