Mike Gaddis, to OU fans is one of the best Sooner RB's....but he tore up his knee in the Cotton Bowl against Texas in 89 and it was over. I mean, Heisman and NFL all-pro type guy in a litany of OU backs. one of the best you never heard of maybe. power and speed, the little shiver to make the LB miss or lower a shoulder on that turf.
Carl Albert high school. Billy Sims is the best RB i ever saw in person that just blew your mind sometimes.....and Gaddis was like that. Adrian Peterson type good.
Mike died of kidney failure or heart issues this week.....and was diagnosed with it at OU in the late 80's.
it's a couple weeks until real ball....why not?
