Trump takes another kick to the nuts

It's just getting worse and worse for Trump. I expect he'll be indicted by next summer.

Good times in Washington! About time we save US democracy before Trump, his organized crime family, and his GOP enablers destroy it.

House Democrats open sweeping probe into Trump’s world

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/03/ ... on-1201488
A key House committee with the power to impeach President Donald Trump on Monday kicked off a sweeping new investigation with document demands from the White House, Trump’s namesake company, charity, transition, inauguration and 2016 campaign, as well as several longtime associates and the president’s two adult sons.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, a New York Democrat, opened his much-anticipated probe with letters to 81 individuals, companies and government entities seeking a wide range of materials that go to the heart of allegations against the president — including abuses of power, corruption, and obstruction of justice.

“This is a critical time for our nation,” Nadler wrote to each recipient, all of which his staff noted have already been ensnared in investigations by special counsel Robert Mueller or other federal prosecutors. “President Trump and his administration face wide-ranging allegations of misconduct that strike at the heart of our constitutional order.”

By initiating the wide-ranging demand for documents, the Judiciary Committee signaled it is creating its own insurance policy in the event that all of Mueller’s findings are not made public and it finds the kinds of evidence that would be grounds for trying to impeach Trump from office.

The list of letter recipients reads like a who’s who of people in and around the president’s orbit, including all of Trump’s senior 2016 campaign leaders, including Corey Lewandowski, Paul Manafort, Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner and Brad Parscale, the current campaign manager for the 2020 re-election effort.

Uhm... no.

When a writer opens with something so flagrantly incorrect, I stop reading.

They're the only committee that can start impeachment proceedings. Idiot.

So, "start the proceedings" is the same as the "power to impeach"?

Your idiocy shines through every time you post.

What a surprise, the Muller investigation comes up empty, so now it's time for another investigation. They're not the Democratic Party, they're the non-Democracy party. Going on 3 years and they still haven't come to grips with Trump's victory in 2016, and don't have polices in place to win in 2020.....

Yes of course, the House Judiciary Committee should just ignore the rampant criminality of the felonious Trump organized crime family Administration just like it had when the GOP had control of the House.

How does that taste?

If Trump broke the law, then he should be held accountable. Hush money for extra martital sex is not impeachable imo, just as I believed Clinton's many affairs and lying on the subject wasn't.

Set the legality issue aside for a minute and just look at the situation.

Donald cheated on his wife multiple times, and quite possibly many multiple times.
No only did he cheat, but he underhandedly paid skanks off with very large amounts of money so that they would stay quiet.
When asked about payments, he blatantly lied about it.

This is a shit head.

Donald likes to go on Twitter and degrade and demean people who disagree with him.
Publicly name-calling them like a juvenile.

This is the U.S. Commander in Chief?

How long would a high ranking military officer be allowed to roll out on Twitter and flame people on a daily basis like Don does?
Think about it.

He's the United States President.

What should Donald be called?

His behavior is sordid, manipulative, juvenile, cringe-worthy, idiotic, and ridiculously pathetic.
He needs to be checked.
He can't keep his dick in check.

He's an impulsive sociopath who has never emotionally matured beyond puberty.

What does Melanie think of being crapped on by him?
The woman he made his vows to.
The woman who had his child.

He has humiliated her like a total asshole.

Wft, man?

He is a pig.
A low life, loser.
White trash.

Why would you go out of your way to rationalize his conduct?

Why would you trust this guy at all, and believe that he is operating in the best interests of the American people?

Oh... because you are a pathetic HACK.

Voting for Trump in 2020 is almost a guarantee for any citizen who wants existing criminal and imigration laws enforced, and does not want the US to turn into a 3rd world country like the many cities that are governed by Democrats today.

Pops doesn't like Trump because he feels safer if our government just ignores N Korea. The old adage keep your friends close and your enemies closer applies here, and that policy is likely making the Korean peninsula safer, not more dangerous.

88 hit the nail on the head concerning politicians extra martial affairs. I'm 100% more concerned about the influence corporate money has on our democracy. Like the push for open borders, not enforcing illegal immigration or criminal laws like heroin use, & shitting on the sidewalks/streets. Censoring political takes, and the promoting of hate and civil unrest on mainstream and social media.

This is exactly the type of shit that the House Judicial Committee investigation will ferret out: How Trump and his organized crime family are leveraging their positions for personal financial gain at the expense of the US. This is what happens when you refuse to divest yourself from your personal businesses.

T-Mobile acknowledges its patronage of Trump’s Washington hotel increased sharply after announcement of merger with Sprint

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... 9111dac86e
T-Mobile’s patronage of President Trump’s Washington hotel increased sharply after the announcement of its merger with its Sprint last April, with executives spending about $195,000 at the property since then, the company told congressional Democrats in a letter last month.

Before news of the megadeal between rival companies broke on April 29, 2018, the company said, only two top officials from T-Mobile had ever stayed at Trump’s hotel, with one overnight stay each in August 2017.

But the day after the merger’s announcement, nine of T-Mobile’s top executives were schedule to check in, The Washington Post reported in January. The Post, relying on internal Trump hotel documents, found that T-Mobile executives had reserved at least 52 nights at the hotel since the announcement.

In a Feb. 21 letter responding to questions from Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), the company for the first time disclosed its total spending at the Trump hotel during that period.

The roughly $195,000 paid for “meeting space, catering, business center services, audio/visual equipment rental [and] lodging” at Trump’s hotel near the White House, according to the letter from Anthony Russo, T-Mobile USA’s vice president of federal legislative affairs.

From the 2016 Republican Platform.

American Values

Great American Families

We are the party of independent individuals and the institutions they create together — families, schools, congregations, neighborhoods — to ad-vance their ideals and make real their dreams. Those institutions, standing between the citizen and the power of government, are the pillars of a free society.

Marriage, Family, and Society
Foremost among those institutions is the American family. It is the foundation of civil society, and the cornerstone of the family is natural marriage, the union of one man and one woman. Its daily lessons — cooperation, patience, mutual respect, responsibility, self-reliance — are fundamental to the order and progress of our Republic. Strong families, depending upon God and one another, advance the cause of liberty.

The data and the facts lead to an inescapable conclusion: Every child deserves a married mom and dad. The reality remains that millions of American families do not have the advantages that come with that structure.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

And what could possibly demonstrate a strong, family-friendly direction more than to turn a blind eye to the egregious conduct of the leader of the party?
Prop up that critical, fundamental family order.

Endlessly rationalize the conduct of the leader who, on his 3rd marriage, has been outed as a serial philanderer who underhandedly pays skanks large amounts of money so they will keep their damn dicksuckers closed.

This is Family Values.
The American family.
The Institution.
The Pillar of a Free Society.

Reducing the Federal Debt
Our national debt is a burden on our economy and families. The huge increase in the national debt demanded by and incurred during the current Administration has placed a significant burden on future generations. We must impose firm caps on future debt, accelerate the repayment of the trillions we now owe in order to reaffirm our principles of responsible and limited government, and remove the burdens we are placing on future generations.

The Republican path to fiscal sanity and economic expansion begins with a constitutional requirement for a federal balanced budget. We will fight for Congress to adopt, and for the states to ratify, a Balanced Budget Amendment which imposes a cap limiting spending to the appropriate historical average percentage of our nation’s gross domestic product while requiring a super-majority for any tax increase, with exceptions only for war or legitimate emergencies. Only a constitutional safeguard such as this can prevent deficits from mounting to government default.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

rotf...

Yeah, those horrendous deficits are bad, bad, and more bad.

Crazy BAD!

... when the opposing party is in control.
