I’m not making the connection here. Did Frampton only ever play music in San Francisco? Is that what M2toolio is implying? That San Francisco is awesome because Frampton played exclusively there and never in, say, Fresno or Oklahoma City? Unless I am crazy wrong here, I’m guessing that if you followed Frampton to the next city he had a gig in after SF, the play list would largely be the same.

Bode, Muleshoe, Texas I guess for getting over on San Francisco for all those concert goers not having to step around and through human shit and discarded needles on their way to listen to Do You Feel Like I Do?
:bode:

While I'll never be as smart, epic, or live in as nice of a sordid clambake as our esteemed fliend toolio, I did see Frampton in '76, shortly after FCA was released. But I was never much of a Frampton fan anyway. I did, however, get to bring him out onstage once for a concert that was recorded by Westwood One and distributed to radio stations across the country, so when the recording aired, mine was the first voice heard on it. But I won't claim bode or anything like that since, you know, I'm not Milton. :(

I liked him with Humble Pie, but his stuff after that was meh, imo. Seemed like a cool guy when I briefly met him, though. A bit vertically challenged, but so is Buck Dharma, Robin Trower, Eric Burdon, and a buncha other good musicians.

Frampton lost his cred when he did that gawd-awful Sgt. Pepper movie with the Bee Gees.

Another one goes very badly for stoolio. Whodathunkit?

Better watch out, Screwey. Milton is bringing his A game this year. The BBOY is gonna be a race for a change. After this thread, I would put him in a slight lead as we come into the first turn. But, it is early. Both of these bitches have a lot of suck left in the tank.

Without the great band straight outta SLC, Tubeway Army, there would be no modern rap.

Sounds like this is the end. Maybe since SF is the center of the musical universe, Frampton will do his last concert there, right, M2toolio? After all, according to you that’d only be fitting.
