Super Bowl champ.
Certain Hall of Fame member.

Where do you place him among the all-time great QBs?

Top 20?
Top 10?
Top 5?

I would put him somewhere between 10 and 12.

Thoughts?

Top 15... the rule changes over the recent years have obviously skewed the numbers.

All of his contemporaries who benefited from the same rule changes are behind him. I think you have to include him in the top 10. It's difficult to see him ahead of guys who won multiple Super Bowls and provided a high level of offensive efficiency. Wherever Marino is, I put Brees a slot behind.

Definitely biased.

Brees has stayed healthy, has had outstanding longevity, has played in a pass-happy era, and has been really excellent.

But it is easy to rattle off the names of QBs (other than Brady and Montana) who were better.

Rogers
Elway
Unitas
etc...
