I know our Pick'Em rules in this forum are a wee bit lax, to say the least...

But as the Moderator here, I'm calling foul. You can't call the #3 player in the world, and a US Open Champ a "dark horse."

Maybe not. The putter is still on hiatus.

guilty as charged I suppose...

guess right now if DJ just gets around the track without issues (both on the course and chopping up nose sugar)...he should be a US OPEN CHAMP...

Uhm... he already is.

Not putting moving balls seems to be one of the keys to scoring today.

Thank you, USGA, for fucking up another US Open.

Fox absolutely blows. Their camera people cannot follow a golf ball in the air and sometimes have trouble finding it on or around the green. Joe Buck and Paul Azinger suck out loud.

I concur with every last word of what you said Goober.

I really have no fondness for the harelip Zack Johnson, but rack him for being the first to come out on live television and call out the USAGA. “They've lost the golf course. When you have a championship that comes down to sheer luck, that's not right.”

I thought it was an all time great tourney. Newsflash, morons -- the US Open is supposed to be hard. A couple of the pins were kinda jacked up on Saturday, but apart from that -- the USGA doesn't control the weather... tell me you knew.

Watching guys go -25 for the week gets old. nice to have one non-PGA weekend to see some real golf.

The USGA needs to plan for the weather. They often try to get really fucking cute, and screw the pooch in the process. I don't have a problem with scores close to par. I have a problem with a course that is totally jacked up and not in any way a fair test of golf. You jack up a course that way and yes, one or two guys are going to miss a little less than everyone else, and move to the lead. It's called "luck", and should not be the deciding factor in the tournament. "Real golf" my watering asshole.

Oh yeah?

Koepka - Was #9 in the world (moved up to #4). Defending US Open champ

Fleetwood - #10 (up from 12)

DJ - #1 in the world

Patrick Reed - #11

Finau - #37

Stenson - #14

Dang, those guy sure seems to get "lucky" a lot. Odd that none of the low-rated players didn't get nearly so "lucky." It's almost like the best players get "lucky" more often.

Putting on cardboard is a crap shoot at best.

Dins - when have so many top golfers missed the cut?

Half of those guys got fucked over on Saturday, half got lucky. But you do have legendary golf announcer Joe Buck supporting your viewpoint, so you've got that going for you. Which is nice.

You don't need to stick up for the USGA. They've already admitted that they fucked up.

Like this week when the number 1 and 2 ranked golfers in the world are going to miss the cut at a The Open?
