The last guy on the PGA who shot a -12 was... Jim Furyk. On a par 71, for a 59.

I remember the last time I played Edgewood. Long fucking time ago, I think before I joined the Navy. The plans had already been made to have some fancy shmancy TPC architect come in and completely redo it into a world class course. This would be no Wethersfield CC pitch and put that the PGA guys had been prison-raping since the early 50s. No sir, this was gonna be the real deal. It would be US Open worthy. It was supposed to have a few par 5s that were insanely long.

The new RIver Highlands TPC place would put the GHO on the map.

I guess it did. It put it on the nobody over par makes the cut map.

I just want to know how the hell Furyk was at 1 over after 3 days? That is some serious overnight improvement.

no shit Dins, we don't want this place devolving to the CDS forum.....as for Furyk's 58, I don't give a shit where he got it, that's a fucking incredible score.....how does a guy his age (47), his distance off the tee (which is relatively short by tour standards at number 167 in tour stats) and his putting average (80th on tour) shoot a 58? I mean we've all had rounds where you fall into a groove and start playing really well, but come on........I like Furyk and glad he got the record....
