This one fits the thread title. Another Bay Area band from the same era, but East Bay vs. South Bay.

Originally from TofP's first album and the first song I ever heard by them.



Check out the guitar soloist at the end. Another Bay Area immortal...


This band, in its original version, played several times at my HS.

Saw Tower of Power in Milwaukee. I believe they opened for Santana.

A lot of good bands out of the Bay Area back then. Cold Blood, Quicksilver, Hot Tuna, the Airplane. And some hippie band that hung out with Ken Kesey.
