You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Promise me you know that those are kilometers per hour.
Even if it was "only" 186 mph it was still a grand effort to win a Darwin Award.

Two things:
1) Speed limiters suck. The rider had it pinned against the stops and it was stuck at 299 and there was at least another 500 RPM left before he approached the red line. That whole, "We'll let Supersport bikes do 186 mph, but not a mile an hour more," thing is stupid. If you're not gonna let rider approach the double ton, why bother to let it go faster than, say, 90 mph? It's an arbitrary number.

2) Seeing as they chose to start and finish on the shoulder, it seems supremely dumb to park their bikes on the asphalt where they had just finished ripping past fellow motorists. I'd have laughed if another group of cyclists plowed into them doing the same thing only 30 seconds later.
Cock o' the walk, baby!

Weaving through traffic with a speed differential of well over 100 mph is not only braindead, it is wreckless. You put that honda into the back of a golf at that speed and you will likely kill the people inside it. I just hope that when the inevitable happens, it is into the rear of a large truck as it will likely cause no more damage than a spilled coffee to the driver.

As to the 186 mph limit on imported bikes:
I could be mistaken, but I believe bikes sold in Europe are 186MPH (which makes 299 KPH), and US models are limited at 199MPH. It was a voluntary agreement between the manufacturers, insurance companies, with a bit of the NTSB mixed in.

As for my own now-distant sports biking past, 145 was about all I could get from my 1987 CBR600R (the original Hurricane. Mine was one of the first 1000 that came off the line). And some questionable passing may or may not have been involved.

Boy, that would sure make for a fun day at the track.

And here's a hint: aftermarket ECMs don't have a speed limiter.
