So going by this video alone the cop was justified because a weapon could have easily appeared as the creep spins around. Oh but wait, the cop should have known he was all juiced up on pcp, and he only had a cell phone, and had no father figger to teach him goodness.

There must be other evidence for the cop to get the charge he did. And after a year, hopefully the prosecutor will have a solid case. Oh but wait, this is Chicago, and politics might be involved.

Granted, it was only a niqqer and no loss to society but this is clearly a bad shoot.

Officer Twitchy McJuicer and anyone else who pulled the trigger needs to be stood against a wall and shot...16 times.

Thanks for the usual ignorant take...again. Don't you ever tire of making yourself look like an imbecile?

Laquan was high on PCP. It's quite common for it to take a lot of rounds to take these people down. There was a suspect in L.A. who the police shot with 18 .357 rounds & 3 shotgun rounds. All of which only allowed the cops to restrain him enough to cuff/strap him down to a gurney. He later died in the hospital.

Anything else, mouthbreathing whipping dummy?

Exactly. Cop had no way of knowing dude was ripped on PCP, but it still doesn't justify the 16 shots when the other officers didn't shoot at all.

Again, no loss for society, though Officer Overkill needs to be held accountable.

My point is that people on PCP don't go down easily, regardless of whether a shooting is justified or not.

I'm not anti-law enforcement. I'm pro accountability. Unlucky for you and shitstains of your ilk that proliferation of cameras is only growing exponentially, I can only imagine how many lowlifes like this piece of shit have killed others and got away with it due to lack of video evidence.

From the vide I saw, he made no threatening moves toward them. He was just passing by them. They had no reason to believe he was armed. If he had just knocked over a bank or shot someone, then it is open season on his ass, but, I don't believe that was the case.

Should be murder 2 or manslaughter. No way to pin murder 1 on him. Hopefully, the DA has sense enough to charge appropriately. No need to have him walk on M1, then have the nogs burn down whatever is left of their hood.

That bag-of-shit cop needs to spend a few years in jail. Then maybe the rest of them will get the message.

Last I checked, slashing tires wasn't a crime punishable by roadside execution.

Sure, the cop probably did the world a favor, but the precedent is far too dangerous a price to pay for the upside of the noggle being removed from the gene pool.

So because you couldn't tell that the guy was high on PCP from the video you're saying that there's no way that the cops could have known?

It sounds like the strap on your helmet is a bit too tight.

They could have easily followed him and smoked him if he cot close enough to harm anyone. I am generally on the cops side, but, not in this case.

He should go down on manslaughter and do 5 years.

I'm not saying whether the shooting was justified, just clearing up erroneous statements being made here. From the looks of the video the guy was not advancing on the officer as he said in his report.

But there's things that most people don't know or understand. There's a guideline that once a suspect gets w/in 21 feet of an officer that suspect can get to the officer before they can draw their weapon. If the officer knew or highly suspected the guy was high on PCP (through either observation, statement from the reporting party, or prior contacts with this suspect) the officer would have justification for not waiting for the guy to get closer than 21 feet. As I've already said, there have been prior suspects who were shot more times who were only slightly slowed down. A person on PCP needs to be treated as more dangerous than other suspects.

No one is faulting the cop for drawing down on him. We are faulting him for emptying a mag into him as he appeared to be walking past. He didn't do any Mike Brown type charges. That cop had all the time in the world. I wouldn't have even had a problem with him putting one in his hip as he passed to get his attention.

If it was the latter you should have told the cop that you needed the medicinal marijuana to deal with the pain of the beatings your wife gives you.
