I swear men have more problems than women. My husband has had a gallbladder removed and a hip replacement, while I remain hospital free.

Spent 32 days in the Hospital in 2010 after mine exploded, and I waited three days, thinking I had a kidney stone.

I barely lived.The Doc said I was the worst case she ever had that lived. I still don't know what to say about that. And now have to live with the unfix-able incisional hernia that came along along 9 months later. Looks like I am smuggling a small watermelon in my pants. But, ....do NOT fuck around with follow up. Yer guts are filthy dirty, so take all precautions Spray.

Sorry to hear about this. Do everything they tell ya to. Especially getting up and walking. It gets your guts moving again, that is very important now.Why the HELL do we still have an appendix anyway?

That is the suck. Did they jam an NG tube down your nose and pump the shit out of your gut? Seriously, that procedure could be a stand in for waterboarding. You'll never know how sensitive your nasal passages are until someone stick a plastic tube in your nose.

Evidently, it half burst when I got there. Of course, I had to finish a show I was playing at before I could be bothered with it. About the third time I've had drs tell me that I've an extreme tolerance for pain.

Just wait till you hit 60. Every random ache or pain suddenly becomes a warning of some life threatening disease like cancer, heart attack, aneurysms, MRSA or ED.

I have had medical devises shoved in every opening in my body, none are pleasant.

Getting a NG tube is, by far, the worst one to endure. Of course, that's what I get to enjoy when I go to the ER with an abdominal blockage, which is relatively common for me. I have scar tissue from having so many surgeries, and that scar tissue causes blockages in my intestines. When that happens, it is time for abdominal rest, and they shove a NG tube in you. Like an IV, it ain't so bad once it is in, but getting that damn thing in is brutal, at least to me. But it does save your life, so there's that.

I had it done over and 8 day period with three separate insertions because the tape holding the tube kept falling off. Man that chafes in places that chafing should never happen. The highlight was when a med student was attempting to insert and she lingered on my gag reflex a little too long. I barfed raw stomach sewage all over her. Made my day.
