Rumor has it, there's something going on this week.

Robert Garrigus is a shoe-in. Except he didn't qualify.

Or Stenson.

Or Speith.

I before E, except after C, and especially in goofy names.

Be fun to see Paddy go all retro.

No, I was questioning if your initial post suggested that Spieth didn't qualify?

Shitty wording on my part.

I started with My Man Robert being the shoe-in, until I actually read the list of players, then went back and edited, hence the butchered syntax.

Stenson and Spieth obviously qualify due to their gaudy rankings, and Paddy because he won the Honda, and I believe gets an entry from the Open Championships he's won.

This guy to win it.

"JJ" Walker, while his usual hot early-season self (kills it in California and Florida, sucks everywhere else), seems like too much of an angry-meltdown-in-waiting to win on the Big Stage.

Oh, and this guy to miss the cut:

Paddy gets his entry from his Honda win. Majors only carry a 5 year exemption. Paddy's last major was in 08.

My pick: Hefty scores win #4, charms the shit out of the members and is given a monument and membership at Augusta.

He already has a membership. Comes with winning.

The membership is honorary and is not the same as being a full member. For example, Phil still has to be with a member on the course. Jack and Arnie are the only golfers known to have full membership.

FELINE stirs the echos...

That POS Bubba is always in play (you guys read the newest Tour survey)...yeah they pretty much hate him...meaning Bubba.

Tubby Phil...could get his mojo...

I like Spieth as well...

I am shocked.... that anybody could supplant Ian Poulter and Rory Sabbatini from the top two spots.

B, if you didn't read it -- Sabbatini was a distant 4th.

Which tells me that Bubba and Patrick Reed and Appleby 5-0 must be serious dicks.

But Bubba won the latest poll by a 2-1 margin over #2.

Might be time for Ben Crenshaw to move to the other side of the ropes. Shot an 80 today. Which was 11 shots better than yesterday.

If you'd been paying attention you'd know that yesterday was his last competitive round at the Masters
Nice send off for a great guy and one of the best putters I've ever seen when he was at his best...a real class act.....

Speith is simply unflappable.....they might as well start etching his name on the winners trophy (which is one of the ugliest trophys in all of golf)

edit: one of the worst swings comes right after a double on 17....so much for unflappable...Rose made an amazing comeback from his first five holes

Good choice.

Nice looking family, too.

Here's Ben and his first wife Polly. Interesting story there.

good call.....weird thing is there is absolutely nothing spectacular about the guy....he doesn't hit massive drives, he hits quality approach shots, and he's a pretty good putter....but the fucker has icewater running through his veins.....there were a couple of instances when he could have put up a big number if he'd made the wrong choice.....when he made that second shot at 13, I knew then it was a forgone conclusion.....just an incredible performance by a guy that just 6 months ago couldn't legally get into a bar.....
