Anybody have their own home recipe? How hot do you go?

That stuff absolutely sucks. I think it's just Tabasco and butter.

Proper Buffalo Wings are sautéed in Frank's Red Hot and butter.

I happen to think Frank's sucks. Never really made any from scratch, but it ain't rocket science. Salsa/BBQ/hot sauce and butter to sautée either deep-fried or smoked wings/drums.

I just buy Texas Pete wing sauce at the g-store.

I don't have the fortitude to grow, cure and grind my own peppers like mvscal would.

...and butter in wing sauce is a travesty. Hooters' suxx.

What the hell do you think it's made from? Hot sauce, butter, vinegar, a little Worcestershire. That's pretty much it.

I'm talking about wing sauce with so much butter it has to be spooned out.

Unless you order super-hot sauce at Hooters, they give you something that's borderline cake frosting.
