The Cueto deal certainly hasn't worked. Possibly the worst trade deadline acquisition ever.

If the Royals win the division, then see what he has left in October.

You're a squirrel, always ready to dart this way or that.

Baseball is not your game. You have no game other than being an exquisite bitch.

Fuck off.

Posting while drunk again there Wags?

I understand why you drink ....

Pic removed for violation of board rules

.... that's easy for everyone to see and understand.
But, just exactly how much do you have to drink every night?
Wait, wait!! The better question is, how much does she have to drink
to put up with you?

dave pulling his usual FB stalker self when he gets a snuggie.

it's creepy, maybe I should buy a gun.

Or not, all my neighbors own several and we look out for each other. I could borrow one if need be.

For sure, I'm going to start locking my doors more often.

Get lost, Excelsior Springs dave. That's a small town that I have little use for.

You are a very small person I have even less use for.

Probably, if I wanted to make an issue of it.

I just hope he doesn't have my SSN or bank account info, he seems to know everything else about me.

Info that he had to search for to get because I certainly never provided it.

FYI - that's my wifeys' pic he lifted from her FB page, not mine. I already knew he was stalking me, but now my wife? What's next, my daughter?

I'm fair game, but leave my girls out of it, ES creep.

Congrats on the Central crown, KC...bad pun intended. (called it, by the way)

Worse year than expected for the Tigers but I really like the influx of new blood in the postseason. Plus, you're seeing more and more that spending doesn't work. You've got to be able to build a team. You spend when you want to put your team over the top when you've got all your own pieces playing to potential. The Cubs, the Mets, the Blue Jays, the Astros and the Royals...a lot of their own guys but you mix in some effective spending and you're playing in October.

Never been on either bandwagon. Baseball sucks.

What do you think Dinsdale's post was referring to, BTW?

No it does not. Not even remotely.

Not enjoying the sport is fine, saying it sucks is simply stupid.

Go back to Wisconsin collegiate football, get plastered on beer and ranch dressing shots and get some rest old timer.

Wtf are you doing reading the MLB forum, much less posting in it? Typically, people who don't like a certain activity, avoid said subjects.

You must have too much time on your hands.

It's real simple. I pull up new posts, regardless of forum. I stumbled across the picture kcdave posted of your sister wife. And commented.

Dins commented (about dave posting the pic, I assume). I replied.

Baseball has sucked ever since Bud Selig got his hands on it.

Blanket statement much Goobs?

Selig has been a long standing tool, but it takes nothing away from the actual sport of baseball.

This season has been as good, if not better than any other in quite a while. A lot of tight divisional races coming down to the wire, great rivalries as well, including the NL Central race between the Cards, Bucs and Cubs. The simple fact of your ignorance of the game, reflects a simple mind.

How do you feel about the game of Chess Goober?

Same resonse?

I would like to extend my sincere apology to the board for testing the perimeters of the rules.
Scott, you did what you had to do, I have no problem with you or the suspension, if you care.
With that out to way .... the regular season has come to a close again. All totals in, it was
a great season for the Royals. So many great memories have been made already. September
was brutal, but the last week things have really improved at just the right time. Cueto still looks
a little shaky, and has surely moved down from game 1 to game 2 starter, but looks much better
than he did a few weeks back. I think the Royals should be able to handle NY or Houston,
but Toronto simply scares the shit out me. To early to talk about that yet though.

You assumed I must feel the same way about chess that I feel about baseball. Dumb analogy.

I used to love baseball. Now, not so much.

Re: Royals 2015

Nothing assumed there Goober and the analogy is sound.

Chess is about thinking three or more moves ahead, positioning on the board, etc.

Same thing applies on a baseball field, by anticipating the way a hitter responds to a specific pitcher and pitch choice, moving the infield and outfield around, just thinking ahead and responding.

Look, all insults and bullshit aside, if you don't like the sport as you once did, that's fine. But why call it stupid just because you don't like it?

If it's not your preferred cup o' sporting tea, so be it, but leave the blanket blasts alone. Dumping on Selig is fair game however, as are steroids, drug use, bad umpiring, etc. Be specific and then you can entertain a conversation. Personally, I like college basketball, but freaking hate the NBA, but I wouldn't call it dumb, just boring, but recognize there are plenty of people who love it.

Royals pull a must win outta their asses, no thanks to Cueto. I wonder how much $$ he cost himself today.
5 mill? 20 mill in the last 2 months?

Dallas Keuchel is the media darling right now, but he can be beat. The Royals beat him here in July,
and they can do it again. Need to get at least one in Houston, and Sunday is as good of a time as any.

Eight of the Royals' 11 postseason wins came from behind in the 8th inning or later.

EIGHT.

Lots of changes in 2 short years. Dayton Moore and Ned will now be assured a place in the
Royals HOF, while Ned will also have his numbered retired and statue place out by the fountains.
Less than 2 years ago, half the town wanted them both fired.

Royals, your new World Series champs. Never thought I'd type those words here.
