Not often there is a difference of 12 spots between the rankings of one team, see RICE.

For good reason.

Henry aside, the starting pitching rates about a "C-". against quality competition.

I love Mike Martin, have spent many hours with him, but the man can't 'get' that with aluminum bats, it's NOT about pitching and defense......It's about crushing the ball!

See: LSU.

BTW, our defense sucks, and so does our pitching.

Uh, Rog, check the 2002 and 2003 National champs.

Both Texas and RICE won those titles because of pitching and defense. I still think good pitching trumps good defense even with metal bats.

Five years ago no. Now, definatly. The college game has changed dramatically since I was younger.
