Not familiar -- who is "The Duck"?

Or did you mean El Gato, who I think might have to much rust to seriously contend?

Angel Cabrera. Who just won a few weeks ago at Greenbrier.

Didn't know he was The Duck.

Saw the final round of Greenbrier. I was shocked to hear that was his first US PGA regular event win ever.

Just saves his best for the big ones, I guess.

There needs to be consequences to poor performance.

Tiger's back!!!

19 strokes back.

Yes he is back. And he's where any reasonable person would expect a player with exactly two post surgical competitive rounds. Don't expect anything from Eldrick until next year.

First off, all RACKS be unto Goobs. Chachi is getting laid tonight, for sure.

Some scrubs were discussing Tigre yesterday (POS truck only has AM radio, and they don't do music on AM here anymore, so it's sports whenever I'm in my truck. We actually have three freaking sports stations here now). They brought up the point that he's such a dominant figure in his sport, we still expect things from him. They used the analogy, something like if Kevin Durant, entering the prime of his career, spent the next 6 straight seasons barely playing because of injuries, and only rarely showing flashes of brilliance, we'd pretty much scoff at the idea he's going to recover and dominate again. With Tiger, we still fully expect dude to come back while pushing 40, and take up where he left off.

Then again, Tiger has been pretty good at not coming up dirty when they drug test.

In TW's last 5 seasons he has won 14 events. That is also known as a career for damn near every normal player on tour. And he's done it whilst being beset by injuries and scandal. If his back is right, he's got even better coming in the next 5 years.

Jeebus, what are you driving for a work truck? Fred Sanford's truck?

Almost half of those wins (6) came in 2009. Dude is toast.

Didn't 5 of those wins come in 2013 as well?? One of which was the Players Champ (the 5th major)...

I guess I win again...filthy euro...is what I called

The fact the bar has been lowered to "events" won instead of majors won says a lot. And see Goober's point.

Face it, the guy can't stay healthy and will never recover mentally. Plus the competition is stiffer today. He's done.

You really should find a new idol. There's a crop of young and exciting players coming up.

I'm surprised they give toilet jockeys work vehicles.

You do realize Tiger was the 2013 Golfer of the Year, right... since he kind of won more tournaments than anyone else?

And when was I promoted from ditch-digger to toilet jockey?

And yes, Fred Sanford would fully approve of my truck.

As far as I'm concerned, Tiger can continue winning the Palmer and Bridgestone Invitationals every year (and yes, I know that those are better tournaments than the John Deere Classic). But I don't believe for a minute that he has 4 majors left in him.

BTW, the winner of this year's John Deere (Brian Harman) earned the right to fly a red-eye to Royal Liverpool. He finished at -4, 43 places ahead of Tiger.

I'm starting to think you may be right......majors seem to bring out his worst....he's got some wins left in him, but as far as majors go he just doesn't seem to have it anymore.....I hope I'm wrong, because el tigre winning majors is good for the game......doesn't matter whether you like him or not if he's contending it means ratings and ratings means money......

btw I had McIlroy going wire to wire.....
