Operation American Spring to hit D.C. to oust Obama, Biden, Boehner, Holder

A group of self-described revolutionary-style patriots with a million mobilized militia members are heading to downtown Washington, D.C., this week to bring a simple message to political leadership, from President Obama to House Speaker John Boehner: Get out...

Predictions on this?

The group expects between 10 million and 30 million similarly thinking Americans to meet them in the capital on Friday for a rally that’s being billed as a sort of “Arab Spring” for Americans.

I'll let you know how many I count. I'll be surprised if there's >10K.

If there was ever a worse tie-in you could imagine, I can't think of one. "Arab Spring?" Really? What, is Vagina Monologues trademarked and unavailable for use? To have anything to do with Arabs in conjunction with a large mob other than to scream "Obama akbar!" as you detonate yourself at a Tea Party rally serves no purpose but to sully an otherwise promising enterprise. Look, I'm all for ousting the establishment Left and Right, but to incorporate even the slightest relevance to Arab is messed up.

And apparently, actual attendance was estimated somewhere around 30. Not "30 million," but "30."

Because it rained.

So...10 million people are supposed to show up somewhere on what? Two or three days notice?

What the fuck?

I believe they were planning it for months, according to news reports.

Not that I disagree with their message, but still an epic fail.

He's always leaving on one boondoggle or another. Problem is, he manages to find his way back.

I'm sure this sounded like a great idea at the time. Then the day finally comes to "take back the country" and these fat asses just roll over and hit the snooze button 12 times.

That's Amurka for you.

I only counted 10, but I may have driven by before attendance peaked. I've had better attendance in TuneTown. I'll cut 'em some slack, though. It rained REALLY hard that day.

He seems to be firmly entrenched. Big news here during the last couple days was that he lunched at a local eatery that health inspectors had recently shut down, and threw out the first pitch for a Little League game at Friendship Park in NW DC in which Jay Carney's daughter was playing. Looked like he was pretty vulnerable to attack being all wide out in the open at at the park, but I heard no reports of shots or any other aggressiveness being directed his way.

The catcher reported the pitch was outside.

A part of me still wants to believe Barry is trolling red state guy by throwing this way.

We can't actually have an honest-to-goodness AMERICAN President throwing a baseball this way, can we??

This is how far down it's gone?
