Nice Wags, nice.

That clip from the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus was the best part about that show. In fact, I would say that The Who's performance of "A Quick One" was the best part of "The Kids Are Alright", the Who documentary. Great song set, energetic and very funny. Blew the Stones out of the water.

That could usually be accomplished by showing up with an in-tune instrument.

Ahh, Marty I forgot about the Lennon performance. It has been a fuck of a long time since I watched that show. On the other hand, I've seen "The Kids Are Alright" a number of times, and while I loved the "newer" performances the Who did for "Won't Get Fooled" and "Baba O'Riley", the clip of "A Quick One" always sticks with me.

Moon, especially with his smirks and drum pyrotechnics, steals the show.
