Lots of strange goings on here.

For example the victim claims she was assaulted by JW. But by her own recorded statements she says it was dark and she couldn't see the person. She also claims on the Police report that she knew the perp could not be taller than 5'11", yet JW is 6'4".

JW voluntarily gave a DNA sample last week from what I understand.

As 88 said, I don't know if he did or didn't, but if he did why did she not go full speed ahead with this? Same for the PD, who has a bunch more to answer for in their actions.

Last season a woman here in SA accused two Texas players of assaulting her during the bowl week. The players admitted to being out past curfew and Mack sent them home for breaking the team rules. SAPD investigated the allegations fully and charges were never filed as they found nothing to base a case on. The woman later recanted her accusation.

Alabama vs Ohio State
Not gonna happen, Sammy. OSU still needs: FSU to lose twice, Baylor to stop scoring so many points, the referees to somehow reverse their call in the ASU-Wisconsin game and Vandy to honor their scheduling commitments. Too many obstacles to overcome.

You shall get Tallahassee State College in the title game.

It maybe shouldn't factor in, but if I had a vote, FSU would be left out of the MNC game based on their disgusting conduct in this matter.

Just because Jameis semen was in her shorts doesn't mean he was even there. She could have been assaulted by Screwball right after he got off work.

At this point, beyond they very obvious aspect of criminal liability, the guilt or lack of is moot. FSU and the local police took steps to hinder the investigation.

Guilty or not, I'd rather my team go 0-12 than pull this bullshit.

What exactly has FSU done to hinder the investigation? JW gave a DNA sample recently. Just because the Univ didn't hold a presser to discuss something the DA has yet to bring charges on isn't obstruction.

Names, dates, times...what exactly has the Univ done to hinder the investigation?

The only question to the AD or Jimbo could be, do you have any concerns playing the kid while this investigation is ongoing?

Agree 100%.

Jimbo and the AD are gonna have to face some serious questions about this. As well as the Tally po-po.
Yeah, we heard you the first time.

Here's the rub - the alleged witness to the alleged crime won't testify against Winston, or won't tell the truth anyway, since doing so would make he himself guilty of a crime.

Unless they grant him immunity.

And to clarify my stance (like anyone cares) -- he's innocent until proven guilty.

The TPD gets no such leeway -- they're guilty.

Nice. You think Screwy spit in her shorts, or put them on and farted to get Winston's dick tears in there?
She could have just been next in line to use the washing machine after Screwy washed a load.

Apples and banjos there 88. Penn State sainformed discussed at high levels that a crime was committed by an employee. FSU on the other hand was likely informed of the charge by JW or his attorney.

You claim that FSU looks bad because they did nothing to encourage a timely and thorough investigation. What exactly do you know that we don't that would support such a claim? Further, we have many examples of coaches and Univs being a party in criminal investigations which they really have no reason to be, and then we (fans and media) call them out on it. This case would appear to be just the opposite, yet we are going to call them out on it too?

I agree that TPD looks horrible and a few heads prolly need to roll there. But, again, what exactly has FSU done to hinder the investigation or done to look bad in your eyes?

Since you're misinformed, Lefty, I'll help you out.
Left Seater wrote:FSU on the other hand was likely informed of the charge by JW or his attorney
The crime was reported to the FSU Police, and the case was taken over by the Tallahassee Police.

FSU was the first to know about it.

Regardless of the result of the criminal case, it's still the same old Free Shoes University.

I have not seen that anywhere in print? Link?

But let's assume for a second that this woman went to the FSU police department first, and then they brought in the TPD. Wouldn't that be the correct course of action? The initial Police report and the "rape kit" were taken and administered by TPD, so they were brought in at the very beginning. This is standard procedure for these types of cases on any campus. The campus cops deal with stolen bikes, public drunkenness, speeding on campus, etc. Everything else goes to the local PD.

So again, what exactly has the Univ done to hinder this investigation or to make themselves look bad? Lots of allegations here that the Univ did wrong with zero so far to back it up.
