How bad is the SEC ?

Rutgers 28 Arkansas 24

The 1st place team in the SEC (Arkansas) lost to a team from the suburbs of NEW YORK CITY !

... and yes, that team from the suburbs of NEW YORK CITY... lost to fresno state !

That's how bad the SEC is this year...

... but, wait

Alabama 17 colorado state 6

I don't count style points late in the game (especially when it's against a community college)

The game was played in Tuscaloosa... and colorado state was rolling alabama in the 3rd quarter and about to make it a 4 point game late in the 3rd... before the famous (we have to save our best teams with a phantom penalty for the sake of the SEC... penalty) when colorado state converted on a 15 yard play that gave them a 1st down. It turned into a 3rd and 25 for the visitors and entirely changed the momentum of the game.

Good ole' nicolas Saban decided to keep throwing the ball with 1 minute to go in the game... to add style points over a team that is... 1-3 (Colorado State).

unreal.

and lets not forget... Georgia (#9) in the country ??? (allegedly)

Georgia was tied (21-21) late in the 3rd quarter (at home) to one of the worst teams in College Football (north tejas)... and needed some "home cooking" from the SEC refs to pull away with a quarter to go.

just sad... really.

The PAC 12 OOC...

29-4

There simply isn't a better conference.

Just think how good that record would be without Cal. 28-2. Hell Cal is responsible for half the conference's losses OCC.

On a serious note, these so called offensive genius coaches somehow completely forget about defense. Look at Dykes and Sumlin for example. Both announced verbals over the weekend from top of the top offensive recruits, but so far the best defensive commit to ATM is a 3 star. WTF? Do they just not care, or are they so amazed by offense they think they can out score everyone?

You dumb. And to answer your question, early on it would appear the SEC is down slightly, mostly due to a drop off in defense all over the league. So there will probably be only one SEC team in the championsip game this year.

Where the fuck do you get this shit?!

3-0 til they had to play an OOC game that wasn't in their state.

When was the last time alabama played an OOC game out west against a PAC 12 team ?

Take your time...

Uhhh, no.

Washington State's shit QB won that game for Allbarn with 3 interceptions (one at the goal-line that would have tied the game late.

Total yards:

Washington State 464

Allbarn 394

Remember... Allbarn was at home and one of the shittiest teams in the PAC 12 "flew" 3,000 miles to play a game in the sticks.

I'm sure your SEC team will be returning the favor by "flying" 3,000 miles to the "west" and playing Washington State in "the Palouse ".

So when is your SEC team getting on a "plane" and heading out for the return game ?

I'm guessing NEVER... since that would mean another loss and the SEC can't have that. How would they get their 4 free wins before conference play ?

m2 arguement score sheet:

Total Yards - check

Plane Flight - check

Crappy player won game for other team - check

Free wins against directional school(s) - check

The last one is my favorite considering Cal has scheduled a church, a bunch of FCS, and a HS in the past few years themselves.

Because the PAC 12 doesn't play 4 cupcakes OOC... and we play 9 conference games.

The SEC plays 4 cupcakes every year... and plays only 8 conference games.

If that isn't embarrassing enough... they also have more teams than the PAC 12. They should be playing at least 10 conference games a year.

Any of this getting through "the blubber" yet ?

Crimson Tide cancel on Spartans

The conference of pussies

At least the PAC 12 plays people and will take it on the road. You think Florida, Alabama, LSU, etc., would ever play Nebraska in Lincoln or Notre Dame in South Bend ?

Hey, I'll give Cal credit. At least they leave their own time zone.....then stoolio uses jet lag as an excuse for their constant losing.

That is a bit cuntish on the part of the menstrual tide. I suppose they'll be cancelling the game against Wisky as well.

As I said, I hate the cancellation, but it's understandable. Playing another tough SEC opponent will give the SOS more oomph than playing a B1G team.
What a bunch of horseshit. You have no idea how good any of those teams will be three years from now, especially when you consider the falloff your league has experienced this year.

I wouldn't have to bump this thread... if the SEC wasn't so god damn fucking bad !

You add a couple of "run of the mill" little 12 teams to the conference... and they start "riding rough shod" over that slow and OVERRATED conference. The only thing Mizery and and the Boys from Deliverance have in common with the SEC... is the don't have dentists within 100 miles of their schools.

The SEC simply doesn't have the speed to keep up with the "high-octane" conference's and it's starting to show.

Just ask Tennessee what they thought of the PAC 12 speed... when they lost recently 189-0 to a PAC 12 school and then turn around and almost beat an OVERRATED SEC team that is "allegedly " the #7 team in the country.

There is no way to truly convey in words how bad the SEC really is.

Did LSU really lose to this shit Georgia team ???

Jesus fucking Christ !!!

Your shit conference (SEC) keeps making me bump this thread...

... a little 12 team comes into your conference and bitch slaps an overrated #22 Florida (4-3)

36-17

A shit and overrated team #11 South Carolina (5-2) loses to a Tennessee team that lost 189-0 to a PAC 12 team a few weeks ago

23-21

and not to be outdone... another of your overrated/shit teams #15 Georgia (4-3) loses to a "school" that is unranked and their fan-base still has all its teeth.

31-27

That being said, all of those teams should drop into the top 10 in the country with their loss... since they had to actually go on the road.

Look for every team in the (SUC) conference to drop into the top 25 this week.

Wow.

The SEC and their pollsters have hit a new low.

Texas A&M as the # 7 team in the country ?

They just lost to allbarn...

Can't Stop Laughing

Yes, the same allbarn team that needed a "miracle" to beat one of the worst teams in the PAC 12... at home.

Too funny

I almost forgot the LSU game...

The most overrated team in the country (#6 LSU) lost to absolutely horrible Ole Miss 3-3 team this last weekend.

Of course, the pollsters/espn had a one loss LSU ranked as the #6 team in the country, even though they had lost to a horrendous Georgia team. Reality kicked in... when Ole Miss took them to the tool-shed this past weekend.

Comically, LSU remains in the top in the Top 15... with their two losses (to unranked teams)

Who are the 3 top ranked (2 loss) teams in the country ???

You guessed it !

13. LSU (lost to Georgia and Ole Miss)
14. Texas A&M (lost to Allbarn) who needed a "miracle" to beat one of the worst teams in the PAC... at home.
20. South Carolina (lost to Georgia and Tennessee) a team that lost to a PAC 12 team a few weeks back... 189-0

Hmmm... no SEC bias here, just move along.

Most overrated conference in the country... and it's not even close.
