Sounds fun, but it also sounds like it could be a shit-ton of work on your end. As much as I like the idea of a "vig," that jumps out at me as the most annoying aspect on your end. Are you going to calculate fractions of points or just round up/down? Say I wager 35 points on a game and lose - is my account debited 38.5 points or 39 points? If you opt for the former, you're eventually going to be dealing with a lot of virtual "cents." Nothing that couldn't be worked out with a standard calculator, mind you, but still could add up to a lot of number-crunching if you get a lot of players.
The other option if you decide to keep the vig is just to require all bets be made in increments of 10 points (unless the person is wagering their entire bankroll), which would at least keep the points in whole numbers until somebody goes "all-in."
