I don't see it happening (Paul and Howard). Not with the new salary rules (not a whole lot different from the old one, but a little tougher to "go all Miami").
While Joe Johnson is a very good, dependable player, ATL wayyyyyyyyyy overpaid him, and Ferry dumping him was a great move. It crippled their future.
In other FA news, the Blazers are going balls out (max deal) after Roy Hibbert. I'm way into that pickup, the problem being it uses up most of the under-the-cap money, so they won't be signing much else. Just got two lottery picks, so things are looking good for down-the-road... our team slogan lately, it seems... down the road, when we get gimpy Brandon Roy back (he can't play for Portland until his previous contract would have expired).
The Nets are going to keep trying, and keep failing... which I'll enjoy.
