I thought LSU with their defense was tops, but this is the 1st time I've seen 'Bama play. The former Fresno State offense run with actual athletes by Jim McElwain isn't too shabby either. This is the best team I've seen this year. Wow these guys are good!

I know Bama's offensive system as I've see McElwain run it with crappy players here. Bama's defense is scarier than LSU's. Those guys are FAST and hit hard!

Also, I've watched David Carr's little brother Derek play his 3rd college game today and the NFL has 3 draft picks on that mostly Freshman squad. Derek, the kicker, and #77 from the defensive line. 40% of that team has never been on the field before game 1. Trust me, they'll still suck as all of the local talent Pat Hill can't get still leaves for the PAC 12.

Anyway, Alabama vs LSU Nov 5th is your National Championship game (the way I see it now) barring injury. The SEC is just too much for the rest of the nation.

And those same eyewitnesses claimed Josh Johns kicked him too. He was not indicted by the grand jury. 25 eyewitnesses say Jefferson didn't do jack. Again, it went to a grand jury and they failed to indict him. Let's see....what else? The guy who is making all these claims, Andrew Lowery, has a criminal background including problems in the last few weeks. It started as a witch hunt and is ending with a wimper. First, no the eyewitnesses weren't LSU football players. But now it looks like you just don't like the guys and see this incident as an excuse to slam him. Do you really think atheletes don't go out after curfew? Really? It's very common. Don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise. It happens on all campuses.

Now let me give you a little insight into my feelings about Jefferson. I hate him as a quarterback. I think he sucks and has cost us games. I don't think he has football smarts and I think he's the second best quarterback on our team. Nothing would make me happier to see him sit the bench. But in this case, he didn't do anything to deserve getting suspended from the team. Absolutely nothing. And now he has people, like you, calling him a thug because he was accused of doing something. Was it smart to go to a bar after curfew? Nope. Pretty dumb thing to do, but it wasn't criminal and he didn't deserve what he's gotten so far.

Please show me where the article states the video shows he assaulted someone. I might be missing it. And you are absolutely correct. The DNA shows no evidence of Jefferson being involved.
