56 is way too damn young to go. Had the pleasure to meet him a few times and he was genuinely one of the good guys. R.I.P.

I saw Lee Roy Selmon play in the Sombrero back in 78. He was the first Hall of Fame player I ever saw play in person. My relatives in Tampa tell me he is still revered in the area. RIP Lee Roy.

Selmon was a great man. He was very well loved in Tampa.
