The only WTF happened here thing I see: I realize it was due mostly to one persons ballot but how in the blue blazes of Hades does a team who only has six starters returning (Auburn) get ranked ahead of a team who went 10-2 last season and has 15 starters returning (Missouri)? Seriously guys? The SEC doesn't have its cock that balls deep in the college football world's collective mouth does it?

I didnt have auburn in my Top 25 either. I think overall the list looks good. We probably did a better job than the voters will in a few weeks.

I didn't even really consider them; best case scenario I see for Auburn is 5th in the west and an even the possibility of finishing dead last I am really not even convinced they can get bowl eligible.

Wins: Utah State, Samford, Florida Atlantic
Toss Ups: Clemson, Ole Miss
Games I favor the other team but they could pull: Mississippi State, Arkansas, Georgia
Losses: South Carolina, Florida, LSU, Alabama

Truth be told if I had to call Auburn's record I'd say 4-8.

I think they return only 7 starters. They lost a ton and they play in the harder SEC Division.

Valid points, but Auburn currently has a grip on the hardware, and while I don't agree, I don't fault the "They're champs until someone knocks them off" logic, either.

Pretty damn solid picks by T1B from a closeness perspective. T1B picked 24/25 the same as the coaches. The only difference was the coaches (assistants) picked WVU at 22 and T1B picked Georgie at 22. The rest were the same teams with some slight variations in where they were ranked.
