Ben Crane

Post by Dinsdale »

Ben Crane is yesterday's news. Screw Ben Crane.

So, I come across an article on Robert Garrigus. It mentioned his father Thomas, and his accomplishments as an Olympic trap shooter (silver medal) and Olympic trap/skeet coach.

Then, the light came on. I picked up the phone, and called my old buddy of 25 years, who was my roommates and sidekick in what was probably my most intense extended stretch of drunken debauchery, Bob.

And I'm all "Dude, how can I have known you all this time, and not know that Robert Garrigus is your stepbrother?"

His explaination that they never lived together and they've only met a handful of times was reasonable.

The T1B Golf Forum now has a new official golfer... since for some odd reason, they made me the moderator, so I get to unilaterally decide these things.

Goooooooo Robert Garrigus.

In case anyone is not aware of why Dinsdale selected this particular golfer
PGA Tour player Robert Garrigus, best known for his long drives and knee-high putter, said he -- along with other unnamed players on the Nationwide Tour -- smoked marijuana during tournament rounds in 2002, according to an interview published on Golf Digest's web site.

"Oh yeah, there were plenty of guys on the Nationwide Tour who smoked in the middle of the round," Garrigus told Golf Digest in a story headlined "The Reclamation of Robert Garrigus." The PGA Tour did not institute drug testing until six years later.

"We always talked about it. You could go in the Porta John and take your drags," he said.

Looks like he'll get his chance at The Open now that Tigger pulled out. He's the 3rd alternate, but the two ahead of him aren't going to play.

This tool wins the French Open to qualify for The Open. What does he do? Jumps in a lake and breaks his fucking leg.

ESPN is reporting that Dinsdale's new mancruch target Robert Garrigus will be taking his place.

I'm sure after he saw you KC Scott all over Ben Crane, he figured he would do his stepbrother a solid and just not mention it.

Blowed up his back and withdrew from the John Deere.

Beter heal up in a big hurry.

Not sure what's up with U&L golfers and bad backs... Crane, Couples, Garrigus. Maybe the oft ground for half the year trains us to keep the left foot planted too firmly?
