Never tried it (surprisingly), but sometimes when you convert document formats, punctuation marks end up funky.

I think it's a common problem if you C&P a .doc into HTML, not sure about going .pdf to .doc.

I guess C&P isn't exactly "converting."

I skipped the part where you'd lose the format.

And better proofread the shit out of it (which I'd do evenwith a proper converter).

You actually have to send them your .pdf file and they send back a .doc file?

Yes, "they" even sent it back instantly and had the decency to do it for free! Then invited me over for punch and cookies.

I have used the converter program referred to above successfully in the past. Also, Adobe Acrobat 9.4 (that's what I have) lets you export in word format.
