I'll listen.

Rack the Golf Writers Association for telling Tiger to go fuck himself.

I guess it must suck knowing they are completely irrelevant to the process.

If you close your eyes, Tiger sounds like Al Gore.

Who gives a fuck? It's a symbolic move, tard.

Whatever Screwy, they are still utterly irrelevant. Half of those golf writers would be out of a job were it not for the money Tiger has brought to the game.

I'm gonna shred and dump this thread into Wolfman's Beast Lite and watch him enjoy the flavor.

Not really. They'd just be covering other shit. Come back when you get a clue, fucktard.

Which would likely not be as cool as having "hanging around country clubs" as part of ones job description.

Watching the Gold Channel talking heads, it is clear that the word has come down to get to work rehabbing Tiger's rep.

Yeah, well I'd rather have a 9-to-5 than spending every weekend I have working.

Now listening to the Dan Patrick show. Sounds like the callers and whoever Patrick has subbing for him are all marching in lockstep with the meme that Tiger has "turned the corner" and is at least a fairly sympathetic character.

I guess that depends on whether or not you find covering golf to be "work". Plus there's the 2 month off season.

Hey, every job involves making some kind of sacrifice. Obviously golf writers are OK with what they do or they would be work 9-5 mopping jizz somewhere.

Jizz-mopping isn't 9-to-5. Trust me, I know.

Checking out Romey Rome. Looks like Rome is trying to straddle both sides of the argument. He's definitely still bent that the working press got stiffed.

Seth Davis subbed for the annual anal job Dan is getting from his doctor.

Seth was sucking Tiger's cock because he is a tool and has always been one.

And Romey is right about the press getting stiffed. Tiger was a robot reading that shit and doesn't give a fuck about us and who he hurt. He is worried about the money he is losing and lost.

that was my first thought as i listened to him. he has the same effortless flow to his speech reading. one thing is for sure, tiger's golf game and whore mongering talents are well above his speaking ability.

So what if the press got stiffed? So what if Tiger reads like a cyborg? Quite frankly, I only want to know one thing about Tiger, when he's coming back. And he failed to answer that. The rest of the bullshit about whether or not Tiger is "contrite" is fine fodder for talk radio, but should not be taken seriously by anybody outside Tiger's inner circle. You don't know how he feels and neither do I.

Dude has no feelings for anything or anyone.

Meh...All I will say is I agree he did sound robotic, and it was well rehearsed. The only time he truly showed any emotion though I thought was when he was defensive about getting whacked by Elin and also when he told the media to leave his family the fuck alone. He DID sound convincing in that part. Just makes you wonder why he could not sound convincing in his apologies.

Regardless, he's a scumbag dad and a scumbad husband, but I'm with BSmack, all I care about is seeing him get back on the course. Not for the same reasons as BSmack; I'm looking forward to the initial circus that it will be.

Why should it hurt me?

I don't care if he golfs again, fucks again and what not. What he did to his wife and kids is what I care about. If I were her, I would take half his shit and leave him then he can fuck all the porn stars/skank-hos he want.

He also lied to all of you that are sucking his balls. Elin 9-ironed his ass but you assclowns took his word that she didn't do anything, yeah right.

He essentially said all the things we were thinking and what's been reported without getting into the gory details. All he did was acknowledge the facts. I still don't believe him denying the fact Elin tried to convert a sand save with his face on Thanksgiving night. He's taking the fall for her but I guess she's due a mulligan considering all that he did to her. Overall, he said what had to be said although I think the American public didn't need to be apologized to. All he had to do is get things right with his family, get his shit together and move on. We'll see him back on the links sometime between the Masters and the US Open. I don't see him misssing both events...maybe just the Masters at most.

You're the one who specifically posted that "Tiger doesn't give a fuck about US."

By "us", one must assume you meant yourself because you sure as fuck don't speak for me.

I enjoy watching PGA Golf, when I'm not otherwise occupied with things like... playing golf.

He plays golf for the benefit of spectators, which is also a benefit to PGA/network sponsors.

He's the best, and I enjoy watching him play.

And that's that.

So, maybe some of you should ask yourselves "When did my life go so horribly Katy/Otis that I somehow thought Tiger and I had a close, personal relationship to the point he should apologize to me?"

Besides, his absence has ushered in the Age of Ben Crane.

I'm guessing we will first see him the week before the British playing some course across the pond as practice for the real thing the following week. He'll take a little heat at first but he won't be in the USA. He'll get his shot at a major the following week while still out of the USA. Then, he'll come back and much of the hysteria will be over with. Sure, there will be some left here, but the storm will have been weathered.

Did you just say that Tiger would retreat to the UK to avoid media scrutiny?

Not media scrutiny. Just the awkwardness of the first public appearance on the links. Get it over with "over there". Sure, there will be some when he gets back as I said, but the first one was out of the way.

Am I not allowed to have a prediction? Or are we using the golf forum rules where we just claim it after the fact? Because I still plan on doing that...

Epic one word “take” with an emoticon.

Look, you sniveling little bitch… stating that any athlete “doesn’t give a fuck about us” is tantamount to stating that water is wet. I suffer no disillusionment as to where fans stand on an athlete’s “gives a fuck-o-meter.” I am not a golf fan, I am not a Tiger fan, and you’ll be real hard pressed to find any commentary from me on this scandal. I am just astounded that anyone actually feels compelled to state that “Tiger doesn’t give a fuck about us.” Really? No shit.
