i know my windows has some issues, isn't there a way for windows to check for damages and problems?

Every time i get out of a folder, the desktop kind of goes blank(just wallpaper showing, no icons), then comes back with everything on it.

Sounds like your MS Explorer is crashing. At this point you have two options. One is just a re-install of MS Windows on top of itself/Fix install. This should replace all the windows components but leave your apps in place. It should fix problems, but its definitely not as good as a reinstall. Part of it is that Windows opens itself up for integration at such a deep level that after a few months of usage and random crap install, it just doesn't survive.

I'd say a complete reinstall is probably your best 'cleanup/fix' solution here. and then watch what you install on there.

Make sure there isn't a spyware fucking with you before doing anything too drastic.

Malwarebytes is a good program for that, and others here probably know some good ones too.

The newer version of Spybot tries to stay running all the time... it's dead to me.

Same with Adaware.

But good call on CCleaner -- you can also use it to easily (not that you can't through Windows) see which programs are running at startup.

If I can't see through a window I just use windex... always worked for me. For a streak free shine I use newspaper instead of a rag as well.
