With the Phillies so stacked, the Braves threw their hands in the air and said "fuck it. deal Vasquez to the Yanks to keep the Phils from winning another WS."

Vazquez a "stud"?
The same guy who gave up that salami to Damon back in '04?
And the Yankees bring him back? He's a decent #2 starter on a National League team, but he sucks in the AL. He was good with the Expos, D'Backs, Braves, but sucked with the Yankees and was average with the ChiSox.
Are Jon Leiber and Kevin Brown coming back?

Does Vegas accept bets for guessing the Cy Young award? Odds around 50:1 I would guess for Vasquez. I'd put a hundy on it with this stock tip...

how's that stud Vazquez working out?
Like I said....he's good with ATL or Montreal or ARIZONA, but everytime you put him in a pressure cooker like New York....his ERA is over 9.00 like it is now.

Ah- you must be referring to the hottest team in baseball? The one currently mowing through the Phillies and Rays?
By the end of June, Boston should be back on top of the AL East and sometime after the All-Star break they'll bring in Oswalt to bolster an already loaded rotation. Thanks for coming and enjoy not even making the playoffs, Shoalz.

It does speak to the impact of what a productive Big Papi can do for that lineup. Plus, they're getting healthy...Cameron and Ellsbury are back. They're on a nice little run right now...
With the Rays, it's bizarre how average they've been at home...just 13-10. On the other hand, they have a ridiculous road record of 19-5.
From a Central perspective...I love see the Yankees pound on the Twins and keep the Tigers within a game while they piss a lead away yesterday against the crappy M's.
