Cowboys sending a message early

Once again the Romo Law of Averages (300 yards, 3 TDs) was on display in the first game of the year. There's a certain vibe that he was emitting today at RayGay Stadium....cool, calm, being a leader, in complete control. At this point he's starting to remind me of Roger Staubach. Oh and way to shoot off the cannon and have guys run around waving Buc flags after your cosmetic score late

I think with every forecast out there picking the Giants or Eagles to win the NFC East, Wade has used that as bulletin board material and the message today was shot over the entire NFL that this is going to be the team to beat. And did you guys see the Barbarian back in action? Dude was steamrolling that Buc defense and laying guys out flat on their backs. He put on a clinic. Roy is one of the best all-around wideouts in the league with his blocking and receiving, and guys like Hurd and Crayton are proving to be great complimentary receivers.

The scary thing as that the defense, with all the dead wood cleaned out, is going to get better as the year goes along. Next week, the overrated G-men come in for their annual assraping as the Cowboys break in the new stadium in Big D.

So you're thinking Super Bowl after beating a pathetic Buccaneers team?

The Bucs are tough to beat at their stadium, and the announcers yesterday were saying how surprised they were at how much better Tampa Bay is than expected. I watched most of the game and it's not like this is a Rams or Browns team. They have a solid defense but there's not much you can do when Romo picks you apart for 60 minutes. It's like Harrison said on the NBC broadcast- Witten is his favorite target and I've already mentioned all the other weapons. There's too many guys to account for and you haven't even seen them unleash Felix Jones yet. The defense was a little shaky but like I said....it will be even better as the season progresses. Sunday night the Giants will find that out.

Uh, along with Baltimore, this was the most anticipated beat down of week one in my book. A team that launches their OC in the 3rd week of preseason is not prepared to play yet. Still an interesting team to watch this year but still don't think they take MIN when it's all said and done. My injury prone fantasy RB is out of control. That run was straight out of Gladiator.

Second straight week where Romo threw for 300 yards, 3 TDs. Well he may have been barely under 300 this week but they were just running out the clock the whole third quarter and showing mercy against the Seahawks. But he's not a top QB in the NFL :meds:

Looking forward to the rankings top five bottom five. My guess is that Dallas won't be on the list for top five even with a defense peaking and getting better week to week, plus they have I think the best rushing offense in football, and I already mentioned Romo destroying teams.

It's scary to think what the Dallas D will look like in December and January if they are that good right now.

The best part about the win tonight was that people have been conveniently ignoring Dallas as one of the NFL's elite, attributing recent victories to bad teams. Now they have a nationally televised game vs. a hot Eagles team and they kick their asses IN Philadelphia

Once again Stone Cold Miles Austin aka The Playmaker gets the winning score from Captain Clutch. Did you guys see Romo jumping up into a players arms and patting him on the back and energizing the whole team after that play? He's destroying secondaries left and right this year....with three straight bye weeks (GB, Wash, Oak) ...that's 9-2 right there. :hfal:

Maybe the Giants will put up a fight
