Both the UVA-Miss and FSU-Ark games were outstanding. Gotta RACK the Hogs for shitting down the throats of the FSU crowd with that blow the lead before winning in the bottom of the 9th finish.

Sad stat for RICE. 0-3 in Super Regionals away from Houston.

Props to LSU for sweeping us. Got to say I didn't have that high of hopes after ECU won the regular season.


As for the to 16 seeds, I don't see that happening soon. A few years ago they wanted the Super Regional teams to be as close to each other as possible. So they matched up the closest regional hosts to the top 8 seeds. For example you had TCU hosting an a 1 seed in their regional. They were matched up with Texas. LSU vs RICE. Florida v Georgia Tech. ECU vs UNC. Oklahoma vs Florida State. Now granted not every 1 seed won their regional so you don't always have the local super regionals.

But in the case of LSU vs RICE I see that happening for some time unless the NCAA changes their approach or both are one of the top 8 seeds.
