Big respects to you Mace and all... sheep fucking, swine flu having Obamarama haytin' noggin-ish-ness, etc...

Did you get to the ER within 3 hrs? If so, did they infuse you with t-PA (not tard- in Pittsburgh, PA) but what is called "tissue plasminogen activator" which is a thrombolytic to dissolve clots?

Mace,

My dad had a TIA about three years ago. He was 72 at the time. Spent two days in the hospital undergoing tests. Checked out fine and he's doing OK today. However, his doctor warned TIA is a warning sign of a full stroke. You've probably heard all about diet/exercise changes. Good luck, dude.

Take care, bro.

Been there, and it fucks with your memory.

Hopefully, you've a got a steady wife sheep to help you thru this. She'll be telling you all the damn time that you don't remember shit, and you'll be glad to hear it from her. But don't let her know that. Tell her that you remember everything.

Just keeping baby aspirin around is not enough, you gotta pop one of them every day. I am currently popping 4 or 5 a day trying to shake some persistent, but, harmless according to the ultrasound, clots in my left leg from being a stupid old guy on the bball court a few months back.

Good luck you broken down old bastard.

Ain't getting old fun?

Sorry to hear that, Mace. I hope you take the way you have to treat your body very seriously from here on out to prevent a full blown stroke. I truly hope you have a speedy recovery.

That being said-What the motherfuck is it going to take to get the lot of you dumbfucks to realize that the bullshit you put in your body and sedentary lifestyle you live daily is going to invariably lead to an early death?

Spend the 98 cents a day and get the hell in the gym and pay a professional trainer (who knows 10 times more than you ever will about your body) to get you on a great regimen so that you'll live much longer lives (even if it means enduring most of your shit posts as a result)

With the technology and resources out there currently, there is NO excuse for anyone in thier 40's, 50's, or 60's to drop dead as a result of thier diet.

Self Discipline. Its really nothing more than that.

Mace, I wish you well and hope that your body can hold on for another 20 years. Brutal to hear that there isnt any true recourse for you at this point according to the doc.

RJack wrote:You heard the man. Hair gel and tatoo ink for everyone.............STAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have to give respect to the personal trainers out there. Their day does not consist of making fit MILFs look MILFier, but dominated by staring at fat piles of lazy housewives and figuring out the best way to shave the overhang from their gunt while convincing these worthless pigs that laying off the frappachinos and bon bons is a neat idea.

Their sacrifice is only one step down from our troops

If only that were true. Some of us are lucky enough to handpick our clients....but i've had to help absolutely destroyed people over the years from morbid obesity, ACL's, MCL's, PCL's, ect. Who do you think the Doctor's send these folks to, RJack? I dont complain though, because I truly love helping people take thier lives back through getting heathly and strong-and yeah, the droves of hot gym booty (love the yummy dames that wear those tight "juicy" shorts) i've had fun with over the years doesnt hurt that love, either. Every job has its perks.

For me, the most rewarding journey comes through helping the obese. It's truly mind blowing to see the change in someone and how thier newfound confidence spills over into thier work, dating, and overall daily life. This has become one of my favorite clients, because its the absolute pinnacle of the field I work in and truly love. My simple once over in this post does not do the process justice. Rehabbing sports injuries is fairly simple, and there is no need to structure a new eating regimen for the athlete. You start with simple flexibility, balance training and move up to strength and finally power training. Case closed.

If you guys ever have the time, watch The Biggest Loser on NBC tuesday nights at 8 pm (pst). That show gives a true understanding of what these people go through and how thier lives are changed forever once one of us lowly 'trainers' get a hold of them. I DVR it and havent missed an episode since it began.

Creepy...

First you work a lot on a baseball field.

You live in Iowa.

You want a doctor nearby when you stroke out.

The next kid you see hitchiking on the side of the road will be named Archibald "Moonlight" Graham. Give'em a ride, old man.

I bet.

Back when I was training people, I tried to sign up as many fatties as possible. The fatter they are, the easier it is to see results, i.e., the weigh-in:
"I lost 11 lbs this month and I am down to a size 28. I can't thank you enough!"
The only bad part of about these disgustingly obese fucks was enduring that "fat stench" that they all had. You know what I am talking about. Those hard to reach fat folds that are impossible to bathe. When you have to outsource a cleaning crew (sup Messicans?) to sponge-bath your gunt, you know you're headed towards a life of perpetual bed rest and Bon Bons.

James is good people.

Through the years, I bet I could count on just one hand the number of R. James posts that I have scrolled by.

On that basis alone, he probably deserved a spot on my ... not a *TOP 13 POSTERS* ... list.

But in case you go to that Big Smack Board in the Sky soon, might as well give you a preview of what I'll post to your memorial thread.

velocet wrote:...basically, I could always count on Mace to be a formidable adversary. He and I went at it a few different times on 3 different boards (SCIII, TNW, theventonline). He chose an appropriate username, as I've seen his smack brutalize others in the way of blunt force trauma. From my own experience, let's just say that I'm glad I was giving the fights full attention, because he will catch a misstep, exploit it and smash away. I didn't lose any of our battles, but... neither did he...
