Dear lord, down south the tailgate starts at 6 to 10 AM depending on the time of the game. Noon games are a bitch. Setting up a tailgate at 6 or 7. The beer is the best part because it gets rid of the hangover....well postpones it a little further.

yep, since CoMo is close to 2 hours away, those 11:30 games mean we have to leave by 5am. This Saturday, were going to have to leave Hotel room by 4:45am, get breakfast, then head to Camerohead to get our Tailgating spot(lots open up at 6am). College football tailgating beats NFL tailgating by miles. More interaction between fans, better looking chicks, and less idiot drunks.


Honestly, i like the earlier games, the 7pm games lead to many idiot drunks, who like to make themselves noticeable. Especially the KU fans. Nothing worse than a guy wearing an Izod Polo, with Collar up, drinking some foo foo flavored beer(sup mgo), and talking sheyat. You want to put his head through the pavement, but who wants to go to jail???? And just like roaches, they come from everywhere and infest.

speaking of shirts, and per our bet last year, i immediately shipped the one i had to buy off to namibia. i, of course, had outfitted the village in maize and blue, so i sent the osu one to a friend so she and her brother could send back a nice photo of them wearing their us college shirts, smiling and oblivious to the irony. someone working in the post office stole it.

This thread might be hijacked already, but here are a few more pics from two weekends ago in C-bus (props to 88 for hosting).

Was cool finally meeting up with _sc before the game, maybe there's a chance for a mini troll-stop out here for the Fiesta Bowl (?). Since moving to Arizona more than four years ago, the most home games in one season I got back for was 1, before this season. I got to three this year, and that included the Penn State and Michigan games (thanks Sky). Twas a great football season, though it went by way too fast.
