Nice post convention bounce

So for all those who said McCain didn't have a chance come November, what say you now?

I still think opinion polls are next to meaningless, but for those who seem to put major stock in them, put these numbers in your lib crackpipe and smoke 'em.
The new poll, taken Friday through Sunday, showed McCain leading Obama, a first-term senator from Illinois, by 50 percent to 46 percent among registered voters with less than two months before the November 4 election.

The poll of 1,022 adults had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 points.

I wouldn't gloat Wags.

Obama's "muslim faith" will see him through to November.

It's still too close to call. Dead people don't answer polls, but they do vote for Dems in November.

And the live ones tend to vote early and often.

It's not November. Twatneck.

And it wasn't November when the libs were proclaiming Obama in a landslide based off the very same poll.

Today's polls are starting to come in.

CNN- Obama (D) 48%, McCain (R) 48%

Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll- McCain (R) 48%, Obama (D) 47%

Say goodbye to that post convention "bounce".

Polls at this stage of the campaign are worth less than the difference of the square roots of Diarrheagenes and LTS TRD2 posts.

I never promised there'd be no math.

Yeah, and like Smackie said, polls are worthless at this point. In fact, I'd take that sentiment further and say that they're worthless at any point. Polls don't elect a national candidate, state by state elections do. If polls were all that, why even bother to have a freaking election?

I only tossed this out to see if I could get Jay to bite since he put so much credence in the Gallup poll. Posted graphs and made it clear that McCain couldn't win unless he was ahead at some point.

Thus far, damn the bad fishing luck. Must be the weather. I'll have to check the sol-lunar tables and the farmers almanac more closely next time.

After 8 years of Bush, Obama is neck and neck with an octogenarian mental patient with no economic policy and you're confident?

Sorry Obama-tons, it's going to get ugly.

Has the DNC recruited your vote yet?

I'm not sure they have enough dead people, illegal aliens and felons. They'll probably start importing Canucks next.

I guess we're pals then. Dammit.

When they ask, tell them you're going to roadtrip all the northern states. It'll skew their projections.

The polls are meaningless until both top & bottoms of tickets have had a debate or two.

Was Dio your spelling and grammar teacher?

Anyway, Dio and LTS TRD2 are opposite sides of the same coin. Of course, that coin would be a penny, since it's the only coin sportin' a Republican. Unfortunately, its value is worth more than all their posts combined.

Didn't know it was possible to slur a post...

The sad part is it'll be issued before you post anything worth a shit.

It was issued 86 years ago, dumbfuck.

And the next post you make that has an actual point worth reading will probably be the first.

Yeah, but a new Grant $1 coin is due out in 2011, long before your reign of tedium will end.

Nice work with the IKYABWAI. At least you've mastered something besides emphasizing your deficiencies by bolding every piece of meaningless tripe you spew.

More of a why don't you try to mix in a take while you're following me around trying to lick my balls.

Then again, don't bother. It would probably be as unoriginal, tedious and lame as the rest of your inanity.

Since we know McCain likes to include Dems in the mix, Obamessiah could be ambassador to the UN after the election.

He's useless and talks pretty. Perfect fit.
