I ate locust today

Attended a wedding.
Reception buffet had a plethora of pleasing dishes to choose from.
In between some funky green slant jello and the Tteokguk soup was a large bowl of locust.
Thinly-coated in a 'honey-like batter' of some sort.
Not too crispy.
I ate a few of those locust.
Had dominion over them like John the Baptist.
They went down alright, but crunching the skull and eyeballs and having the brains oozing and grinding over my molars was a bit gnarly.
Protein fix.
