For myself, I know the life of retail ends (at the latest) next Summer. I've had two good careers that ultimately just weren't for me. About that time it was 2001 when I decided to try to find something I'd like to do. Being single and having money allowed me to fuck off and do some shit that's been well-documented on the boards. Three years ago I decided to pursue a medical career and have worked toward it since then. The only place that would let me make "okay" money, let me work when I can, and not go to my bank reserves has been HD over the last 3 years.
